The BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Sport is designed to develop the key knowledge, understanding and practical skills essential within the sports industry. It is the equivalent of one A Level and should be studied alongside two to three other subjects.
The students can have any level of sporting ability but must still have the same academic standard necessary to study A Levels. During the course they can choose to apply the coursework to their own sport, or to any other sport(s).
The course will be taught and accredited by the Loughborough College who have an excellent reputation for their sports provision. The students will study one full day at their facility at the Best Centre Academy where there will be swim and triathlon teams training most of the year, and students will benefit from their experience and knowledge in those sports.
