Learning today must be undertaken in an international context so that students are equipped to live and work anywhere in the world. Students are able to go and study overseas for a two week period as part of their Lower Sixth year. In return they are expected to have an overseas exchange student to stay with them and attend Palma College if that return visit takes place within term time.
Learning in a global context is highly valued. International education takes a variety of forms through which we seek to broaden students’ cultural awareness, develop linguistic proficiency and promote greater self-awareness and independence in order that they can take their place in the world as global citizens.
Palma College takes advantage of well-established exchange programmes with schools in the UK, Canada, Australia, Chile, South Africa, France, Germany, Italy and the Spanish mainland.
