International A Level in Business is a mixture of theory and practice.  You will enjoy this course if you would like to develop an understanding of how business works in the real world; discover the problems and opportunities faced by local, national and international businesses; have an opportunity to organise an enterprise activity and learn about business functions and roles.

The aims of the International Advanced Level qualifications in Business are to enable students to:  develop an interest in and enthusiasm for the study of business; gain a holistic understanding of business; develop a critical understanding of organisations and their ability to meet society’s needs and wants; understand that business behaviour can be studied from a range of perspectives; generate relevant solutions to business problems and issues; be aware of the ethical dilemmas and responsibilities faced by organisations and individuals; acquire a range of relevant business and generic skills, including decision making, problem solving, the challenging of assumptions and the quantification and management of information.

The courses are assessed through examinations at the end of each year or in January beginning 2017.
